Halloween Costumes and A Ticking Clock

Halloween is days away and we’ve been busy visiting pumpkin patches, decorating, and prepping for trick or treating. If you haven’t thought of your Halloween costume for this year, don’t be too hard on yourself, you are not alone. With a picked through selection available in stores making that final decision can be a challenge. If you are creative and have time on your hands you could make your own costume, but really who has time for that this late in the game?

How To Make a DIY No Sew Black Cat Costume

Dressing up for Halloween, going to parties, trick or treating and going to pick pumpkins is a tradition for my family. Planning costumes for the children almost becomes an event. I love to hear about their creative ideas and see the magic in their eyes.  In the past, Hanna has been a lion, polar bear, black cat, ballerina, lady bug, and a princess.  Oliver has been the same monster 2 years in a row.  (Hey, I was on bed rest and had a new baby last Halloween, cut me some slack.)

This year, Hanna is going as a bat and Oliver has been insisting that he dresses up as a monster super hero (straight out of his 3 year old imagination.)  Little Liam doesn’t have a costume yet though.  We really need to decide since the clock is ticking! This is where MrCostumes.com becomes a great tool for last minute shoppers like me.  They are having a great 20% off sale for a limited time and they have costumes for everyone from babies to adults you can find costumes that will make you the envy of the party.

I would love to hear from you about what your kids are dressing up as, or what you think I should dress Liam up as this year. Keep in mind, he just turned one and is only walking a few steps at a time.  I can’t wait to find something adorable for him to wear for Halloween!

Thanks to MrCostumes.com for the inspiration for this post.
